SENSITIVE COLOURS - the newest addition to the lines that form the COLORE collection - is the second fruit of the successful collaboration in this field with architect Francesca Corazzina, chromatic consultant
The inspiration for the new palette stems from the desire to explore warm and comforting colours for winter, evocative of grounding, inner calm, and liberation.
Thus, a chromatic harmony is born, one that gathers and connects the emotions that encompass all these shades of feeling
SONIC COLOURS
This line was born in 2020 from the collaboration with architect Francesca Corazzina, for the COLORE collection.
Created during the pandemic, the SONIC COLOURS palette reflects both women's deep desire to listen and discover new healing paths through the senses and nature, suddenly rediscovered as closer and more essential
«Our senses - emphasizes Francesca - work in synergy to gather information from the environment. Colours are not an exclusive experience of the sense of sight: they reach the sense of touch, taste, hearing, and smell. In this case, the subject of our research is the "sonic dimension" of colour: we are looking for three colors that sound good together»
The three colors of the line enter into harmonic resonance thanks to their complementarity: the deep green plays the role of a continuous bass; the main chords unfold on the register of light blue; while the luminous green, with its bright tone, acts as a counterpoint.
Together, they are colors of good omen, heralding a joyful rebirth
DEEP COLOURS
DEEP COLOURS is the successful outcome of the proposal that I made in 2018 to Milanese artist and poet, Valeria Manzi: to create a new palette together for the COLORE collection
Inspired by her poems, I wanted to translate the deep connection between the words in Valeria's verses into colour tones
«It was fascinating to observe with what delicate sensitivity Valeria modulated the colours within the small space of a tiny square. It seemed to me that before my eyes, that mysterious process unfolded, the one that occurs in her soul when she arranges the words to compose her poems».
LUMINOUS COLOURS
The first line of the COLORE collection was born in 2017 through a collaboration with Sarah Dominique Orlandi, a consultant in cultural strategies.
The palette is delicate and joyful, entirely focused on the light qualities of the colours
The palette was created under the influence of a dual inspiration: on one hand, the echo of Sonia Delaunay's art, with its luminous chromatic dynamism and her graphic sketches for the theater; on the other, a contemporary reference to the revival of pastel colors that defines the fashion trends of the year
